About JSM Plastics

JSM Plastics was established in 1980 on the Mynrust farm, between Kroonstad and Vredefort. Founded by Johannes and Susan Maree, what started as a small side project has grown into a trusted manufacturer of quality PVC products distributed across South Africa.

Our very first product was the slip-on PVC book cover, produced as part of a “Back to School” initiative. With an initial run of 40,000 covers, we set out to provide durable protection for learners’ textbooks. More than four decades later, our covers remain a staple in schools and libraries nationwide.

Beyond book covers, JSM Plastics supplies packaging solutions for the hardware industry — including screws, bolts, nuts, and nails — as well as a variety of custom PVC products designed to meet our clients’ unique requirements. Many of these items are available exclusively through us.
